Thu, 19 Oct 2006 - Kit costs Just to go over what i said at training last night if anybody wants to buy their own kit you need to bring your money down thursday at the latest. It's £225 for full kit or £175 for just a helmet (prices include your league fees). We will measure you up and do all the ordering for you so we just need the cash or bring your chequebooks. Also we can get you any kind of gloves for 20 quid. I won't actually be there at the start of thursday training but Ore should be able to take care of stuff or ill be there at the end. Wed, 11 Oct 2006 - Practice on Friday and Sunday Please make sure you are at practice on Friday. Be there at 1820, so we are ready to go at 1830... (If you want to go to the freashers ball, there is enough time to go to that AFTER practice!) For practice on Sunday, make sure you are there at 1200 (we may make this earlier) so we can issue you with a helmet and shoulder pads Thu, 05 Oct 2006 - ALL KNIGHTS BRING YOUR CHEQUEBOOKS TO FRESHERS FAIR. YOU ALL should be attending at some point and if you cant post on here with a valid excuse. We need you to give us all of your cheques so that we know all of the veterans have paid. If, like me you do not have any money just yet bring a cheque anyway and post date it for the 11th October, this should be the day after the loans have gone through. This is even if you are not buying your own helmet which we expect the vast majority of our lovely dedicated players to be doing. There will also be a catalogue or printouts so you can choose and see what you are buying. Training will be every week until the end of term.. These sessions are compulsary but they will be fun. Remember to bring all your kit... SANTA SOCIAL again just a reminder to be a walkabout with a santa suit a bit of money and at 4 pm. Cheer Party I've been asked to let you know about the next cheer party. It's on Sunday 27th (After Plymouh Game) at Bar Mango and will run from 9pm through to 2am (Last Entry 10:30pm). The theme is Uniforms so you will either have to take/wear your outfit to Walkabout after the game or go home to get changed. Tickets are £4 in advance or £5 on the door (If there are any left!) and I would imagine there will be a lot of naughty nurses and schoolgirls for us all to enjoy! Please meet at the athletics pavilion (Behind the Wolfenden sports centre; by Whiteknights Campus main entrance) at 12.30pm... Please wear the "Knights American Football" t-shirts handed delivered to your halls on thursday. Anyone who did not recieve a t-shirt will be given one before training on Sunday once they have paid their £11 insurance, please arrive a little early for this.
