The following players have been voted into the hall of fame by their team-mates : |

Matt Cutts Matt brought a level of intensity to the Knights that would be difficult to match, making a name for himself for ferocious tackling and cracking lead blocks. He had the ability to make those around him lift their game in an attempt to keep up to his standards. Matt always put in 100% effort whenever he was in pads. Just ask the netball team, who he regularly used to terrify by running into the chicken wire in anger after missing a tackle. And that was only in practice.

Ian Hill Ian was the joint-first Knights player ever to make it to the Southern Wildcats (then known simply as the All-Stars). Possessing good speed and an eye for a tackle or block (as well as the ladies), Ian proved more than capable on both sides of the ball. Ian has played senior league football for the London Blitz. Always ready with a cheeky quip and a sparkle in his eye, rumours that he is related to Jamie Oliver have yet to be confirmed. |

Andy Marsh Overcoming a lack of natural ability, Andy worked hard at making the O tackle position his own, forming dependable T&G partnerships with both Colin and Brad. Andy "didn't do defense", and the one time he did, he dropped a RB on his thumb and ended his playing career (some blame poor tackling technique - Andy claims the RB was sent to knobble him). Andy has since been helping out with coaching the Knights, and has just taken on the Head Coach role. |

Russell Morey Russ is another who made an impact at various positions, and proved to be a worthy replacement for Matt at FB. Russ was appointed D Captain, even though he couldn't see to the sidelines to get the plays. Since leaving the Knights, Russ has played for the Redditch Arrows senior league team, and has recently been named as Warwick Wolves' Defensive coordinator - whether he will be teaching his players the infamous 'Laying on the ground with your leg in the air' play is uncertain. |

Brad Searle Brad excelled on both sides of the ball, as a solid O guard and a standout D tackle, earning University colours and the acclaim of both coaches and his fellow players. Team life was always a laugh when Brad was around - especially on away games when his witty one-way banter with the coach drivers would often have us in stitches (and in fear of being dumped in a lay-by). Rumour has it Brad owns the Knights single season sack record, but he can't remember how many he got, other than "more than Ian" (his words, not mine). |

Russell Seymour Russ has been involved with football since the 1987, when he was still a teenager. He played for the Knights 1998-92, then moved into coaching, taking over HC duties between 1993-99. A distinctive figure on the sidelines, his cowboy hat both served as protection from the rain ("Ah, football weather") and as a weapon when aimed at cheap-shotting opponents. Russ was voted to the HOF by the other members of the founding class, who refused to go in without him (Andy in particular needed his hand held). |

Jel Spinks Jel has been described as the best homegrown athlete to play for the Knights. His ability to play at starting standard at so many positions, teamed with a willingness to 'step into the breach' at a moment's notice made him an invaluable part of the team. Jel claims to hold the record for the longest TD catch in Knights history - and he knows how long it was: 67 yards. Since leaving the Knights, Jel has moved to America, where he continues to show an interest in minority sports by watching Association football. |

Colin Waters Colin served the team both as a player (with excellent knowledge of the game and standout speed), administrator (treasurer and then President) and coach (Defensive Coordinator 97-98). The quiet demeanour covered a metal loving tackling machine. Colin holds the unofficial 'Longest Fumble Recovery for a TD' record, at somewhere around 60 yards. Colin is an Eagles fan and is ginger. We forgive you, Colin. |
